Problem
Three teams were each carrying their own detection and tracking stack, with separate training paths and separate evaluation. Results were not comparable across teams, and the same tooling kept being rebuilt in parallel.
Approach
Co-developed a single org-wide standard covering how multi-object detection and tracking models are trained and evaluated, designed to be adopted incrementally rather than requiring teams to stop and migrate.
Result
Adopted across three research and product teams. Training and evaluation became comparable across the organisation, and the duplicate tooling was retired.
